Our Yurt

"Nature" is What We See

"Nature" is what we see—
The Hill—the Afternoon—
Squirrel—Eclipse—the Bumble bee—
Nay—Nature is Heaven—
Nature is what we hear—
The Bobolink—the Sea—
Thunder—the Cricket—
Nay—Nature is Harmony—
Nature is what we know—
Yet have no art to say—
So impotent Our Wisdom is
To her Simplicity.
Emily Dickinson

We own a yurt, and I miss it with its lack of plumbing, electricity, and obligations.  It sits on 9 acres of old hay fields.  We mean to go often, but time flies by.  This photo looks unreal to me, but it is real, and fall is coming, and once again I will bring my camera and capture many moments to make the feeling of the crisp air and the magical colors stand still.
